Obama Divorce Story, A controversial new biography of President Obama claims that Michelle Obama planned to divorce the future president in 2000. In “The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House,” which hit shelves Tuesday, author Edward Klein claims that the divorce talk came eight years into the Obamas’ marriage, after President Obama failed to listen to his wife’s warnings about challenging Democratic congressman incumbent Bobby Rush for a Chicago House of Representatives seat in 2000. Obama lost the election by a 2-1 margin.

“During the dark days that followed his defeat, he turned to Michelle for comfort. But she was in no mood for sympathy,” Klein reportedly writes. “He had refused to listen to her warnings about taking on” Rush.

But is it true? The unauthorized biography, which Klein claims is based on nearly 200 interviews, has been dismissed by presidential spokesperson Eric Schultz. On Monday, Schultz told the Washington Examiner, “Ed Klein has a proven history of reckless fabrication in order to sell books. Nobody in their right mind would believe the nonsense in this one.”

It’s not the first time the Obamas’ marriage has been called in question. In 2010, the National Enquirer reported that Michelle Obama threatened to leave the president if he decided to seek a second term in office.

Michael Baker stole gas from police, A viral Facebook photo landed Michael Baker a 20-year-old Kentucky man in the back of a cop car. He maintained that the crime was committed in jest.Sandelin agreed. “Yeah, we’re sorry, but it was just a joke,” she said. “I mean, if we was going to steal gas, we wouldn’t put it nationwide on Facebook. The warrant of arrest, posted by The Smoking Gun, notes that “on 3/1/2012 in Letcher County, Kentucky, the above named defendant unlawfully: Committed the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking 500 when he stole gas from a Jenkins City Police Cruiser with the intent to deprive them thereof valued at less than $500.

Defendant posted a picture of his theft on facebook.”Baker spent one night behind bars; he is now likely to be fined.Police had Baker remove the photo from his Facebook page. His charges may be increased depending on the level of damage that the landmark, which was built in 1744, sustained.

The chemical breakdown of the urine was known to police who warned of possible repercussions on the monument.

A man has been charged for the second time in two years after he called police to complain about the prostitute he had hired for sex.

William Ferris, 29, originally claimed that his cell phone had been robbed by a hooker called Natalie on Monday.

Officers later discovered that the woman had not stolen the phone from Ferris but that he had struck a deal with her in order to pay for sex in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ferris came to a deal with the prostitute – who he became acquainted with on a chat line – to take his Samsung phone as payment because he had no money, according to the Smoking Gun.

In April 2010, Ferris also dialled 911 to report he had been robbed by a prostitute in the bathroom of a White Castle fast food restaurant.

When questioned by officers, it became clear he was simply disappointed that his $50 had only bought him oral sex.

He complained that ‘all he got was kissing and sucking’ when he had expected ‘all of it’.

For the previous incident, he spent a month in jail after receiving a 180-day suspended sentence and was placed on probation for two years.

Zachary Ramirez Arrested booty call 111 mph, Zachary Ramirez was digging himself into a hole about 2 am last Saturday morning. The 21-year-old was pulled over and arrested after a traffic patrolman clocked him going 111 mph in a 45 mph zone in Naperville, Ill.

Yeah, he was going 66 miles over the speed limit in a bid to get laid. It seems he thought the window of opportunity was closing fast.

Sadly, a booty call — even if you really like the person — is not a good excuse to speed. Barring a life or death emergency, you’re pretty much required to follow traffic laws.

Zachary Ramirez apparently followed few of these laws on Saturday morning. After he sped through a red light, an officer clocked him going 104 mph, reports the Daily Herald. That officer radioed ahead. The second officer then allegedly watched Ramirez ignore a stop sign before he clocked him driving at 111 mph.

To make matters even worse, the second officer felt the need to search Ramirez’s car. Whether he consented or not is unknown, but CBS reports that the officer found .2 grams of marijuana.

Maybe that’s really what his alleged booty call was after.

Zachary Ramirez has since been charged with reckless driving, possession and a few other driving-related offenses. But still, you can learn a thing or two from his behavior.

Firstly, speeding for sex is a horrible idea. And secondly, when a traffic officer asks you why you were speeding or where you were going, keep your mouth shut. Not only did Ramirez pretty much admit that he just broke a number of traffic laws, he gave such a hilarious excuse that he ended up all over the local news.

Manuel did not have a weapon, but dispatcher Patrice Hughey said Manuel told her, “You know I have a gun, right?”

“She called for officers immediately. The officers arrived and were able to take him down at gunpoint,” Kemp said.

Manuel, in Dallas County Jail on several charges, including burglary, claims he visited the police station seeking information on a warrant, and was joking about the holdup.

“I play like that all the time. I didn’t think she would take it seriously.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger had many other Affairs, Arnold Schwarzenegger Total Recall Memoir, Arnold Schwarzenegger new memoir is tentatively titled Total Recall: Arnold Schwarzenegger has a book deal. The bodybuilder, actor, former California governor and estranged husband of Maria Shriver has an agreement with Simon & Schuster to publish a memoir in October 2012.

According to Simon & Schuster, the book’s working title is “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story.”

Schwarzenegger is collaborating with Peter Petre, who has worked on best sellers by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. Schwarzenegger began the book last year.

Financial terms were not disclosed. The publisher is billing the book as “a larger-than-life portrait of his illustrious, controversial and ever-entertaining life in and out of the public eye.”

The pollster, Moore Information, reports:

The campaign to replace David Wu in Oregon’s First Congressional District is going right down to the wire. In a Moore Information poll of 300 likely voters in the district, conducted January 11-12, Cornilles was supported by 42%, Bonamici by 46%, while 10% were undecided and 2% said they wouldn’t vote for either candidate. Not surprisingly, Bonamici led in the Multnomah County portion of the district, but the race was tied elsewhere.

As ballots begin arriving in voters’ mailboxes, Cornilles appears to be surging. This surge is likely the primary reason the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee has continued their aggressive spending and also helps explain the recent purchase of more than $200,000 in the Portland media market by the Democrat controlled House Majority Fund Super PAC.

Cornilles is benefiting from a political environment that is more negative for Democrats than it was during the 2010 election. Currently, more than six-in-ten district voters believe things in the country are off on the wrong track and just 48% approve of Barack Obama’s performance as president, while 48% disapprove. By contrast in October 2010, Obama’s performance was 53/44% approve.

Both Cornilles and Bonamici still enjoy positive images. Despite nearly a million dollars spent in negative advertising against him, Cornilles is rated favorably by 42%, unfavorably by 36%, while the remaining 22% have no opinion or have never heard of the Republican. Bonamici’s image is 48% favorable, 33% unfavorable and 19% no opinion/never heard.

The telephone poll used live interviewers, January 11-12, 2012, among a representative sample of 300 likely voters in the district. Cellphone-only households were included as part of the sample.

Forty-eight percent of the sample are registered Democrats, 35 percent Republicans, and the remainder are non-affiliated/independent/others. The potential sampling error is plus or minus 6 percent.

(Republican chances in an open-seat race are helped slightly by redistricting; as the Cook Political Report noted, “Redistricting made this district about two points more Republican, as it gave up some of its Multnomah County (Portland) precincts to the urban 3rd CD.”

(It has just been pointed out to me that I’ve made a glaring error; this race will be the last under the lines that have been in effect since 2002. I suppose one could see this as a dress rehearsal for a potential rematch under the new lines in November.))

The ghost of Wu appears to be haunting the Democrats in this special election; Bonamici recently told an interviewer, “It’s been pretty clear for quite a long time that this district hasn’t had effective representation.” Of course, she donated $250 to him in 2010, his last bid for reelection.

This is a seat the Democrats have held since 1974, and Cornilles is being outspent by a wide margin.
